The 1954 501 were considered to be ’s big return after WW2. In 1954 Levi's took their 501 jeans to the East Coast of American, which was a completely new territory for them. To maximise market appeal they added a zip fly, which although lead to a huge increase in sales, displeased some of their older customers. 

This pair has been given a 'New Rinse' finish, based on a pair from the Levi's archive, which means they have been washed once and hand finished to give them a slightly worn in look.

These jeans are pre-shrunk and made from 100% Cotton / Red Selvedge. They have the Big 'E' tab on the pocket and come with a slightly tapered fit.
